Village life

Mells is a historic and beautiful village, with the church at its heart. You can read more about Mells, including the community-run Mells Village Shop and Café, at the village website: www.mellsvillage.co.uk

The annual Daffodil Festival, held each Easter Monday, attracts thousands of visitors. A church initiative, it is now organised by a committee drawn from across the village, and raised money for many village community activities as well as the church.

Marc Allum, from BBC's Antiques Roadshow, judges the Easter bonnet competition.
