What we do

Our Mission: 'Sharing the love of Christ within the Mells Group'

  • Growing closer to God as we worship, pray and read the Bible together (growth in our personal journey).

  • Offering practical help to one another and to the wider community we serve.

  • Committing to one another in Christian love.

  • Encouraging one another to grow in confidence in sharing our faith with neighbours.

  • Exploring diverse ways of being ‘salt and light’ in our local community.

Building community in our villages

All the churches in the Mells Group are central to the lives of their villages. Christians give their time to be involved with building community, and helping others – you can find out about some of what we do on the local church pages.

Families, children and young people

Look on the local church pages for information about family services.

You will be very welcome to join us at weekly services, as well as on the big occasions such as Christmas, Easter, and Remembrance Day. If you prefer a smaller or less formal worship, ask us about prayer groups and house groups near you.

Steps along the way: Christenings, marriages  and funerals

Go to the Life steps page to read more about this, or contact the vicar or your local churchwarden.

Prayer and listening to God
